Division/Department: Enrollment Services – Admission
Title: Assistant Director of Admission – First-Year
Status: Full-time, salary - exempt
Work Schedule: 8:30 am to 5 pm (M-F), includes some evenings and weekends
Job Summary: Reports to the Director of Undergraduate Admission and participates in the full range of college admission responsibilities: traveling to secondary schools and college fairs; performing administrative duties; interviewing prospective students; reviewing applications and assuming other projects as assigned. Program planning and implementation with budget responsibility and accountability for program assignments. Sets office priorities in consultation with the Director and VP for Enrollment Management. Will assist the Director and VP for Enrollment Management with long-range planning pertaining to individual program responsibility. Leadership role in supporting the Director and mentoring others on staff. High degree of visibility and contact with persons on and off campus. May serve as admission representative on select University committees. Will demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to the needs of all students and perform duties in accordance with the values of a private comprehensive institution.

Other than admission travel responsibilities, work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. No or very limited physical effort required. No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
