Seeking a Sourcing Manager looking for an opportunity to run nationwide sourcing events for a Fortune 500 company’s facilities team.In conjunction with supplier and facility managers, this role will manage Request for Proposal (RFP) cycles from end to end including: requirements gathering, drafting project charters, facilitating review meetings, supplier selection, and contract execution. The client is also looking to evolve their sourcing processes and this role will help by proposing best practices, creating templates, and documenting standards.

In this role, the Sourcing Manager should feel empowered to work cross-functionally in a highly ambiguous environment, think critically and creatively, proactively solve issues, and take ownership with minimum supervision. Looking for an individual that can work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to uphold high levels of confidentiality is a must.

Responsibility

• Sourcing and Supplier Management for all North America facilities
• Coordinate with Supplier Managers to run Request for Proposal (RFP) cycles end to end on behalf of client
• Drive cost reduction through RFPs
• Work on multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality
• Create and improve processes based on sourcing best practices
• Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships across Sourcing, Supplier Management, Facilities, and Supplier contacts
• Develop and publish reporting on sourcing projects and their results

Requirement

• 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or contracting
• Strong data analysis skills in Excel and Smartsheet
• Strong project management foundations including requirements gathering, planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Fluency with process mapping, documenting workflows, and writing Standard Operating Procedures
• Manages projects effectively even with high levels of ambiguity, competing priorities, and multiple teams
• Handle administrative tasks quickly and with a high level of attention to detail
• Maintains a level of curiosity and assists team members with ad hoc tasks
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
• Intermediate skills across MS Office, particularly Outlook and Word
• Experience providing excellent customer service within a professional setting
• Demonstrates ownership by taking initiative to identify challenges, pursuing solutions, driving tasks to completion, and closing communication loops
