Description
+ Partner with management to understand and execute the organizations human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to talent needs, hourly staffing, employee engagement, retention, and onboarding.
+ Oversee employee disciplinary meetings and terminations in accordance with company policies.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation including employee personnel files, driver DQ files, terminations, employee processing forms, and coaching notices.
+ Manage the local talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for warehouse selectors and drivers.
+ Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and ensures proper onboarding.
+ Provide support and guidance to management, and staff when complex and sensitive questions and issues arise.
+ Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in human resources OR degree in human resources/exposure to policies and practices of HR through a past job/internship.
+ 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience including proficiency within Excel
+ Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
+ Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
