Product Manager – Motorization - (Manufacturing & Physical Product Focus)

Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 remote)

Salary: $130,000 + 5% bonus

We are hiring a Product Manager with hands-on experience in manufactured physical products —particularly electromechanical systems, electronics, or related hardware. This role is best suited for someone who understands how to bring tangible products to market, working closely with engineering, operations, and sales in a manufacturing-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the development and launch of motorized products and accessories from concept to commercialization
• Translate market needs and customer feedback into product requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with engineering, production, sales, and marketing to execute the product roadmap
• Oversee product lifecycle, including rationalization, positioning, and pricing strategy
• Support demand planning, product data accuracy, and technical documentation
• Serve as the internal product expert and technical resource for cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with global counterparts to align product offerings across regions

Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of total experience, including product management or product marketing roles
• Demonstrated experience working with physical products in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude with a practical, hands-on approach
• Proven ability to manage product launches and support cross-functional collaboration
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, customer needs, and competitor positioning
• Experience with certifications and compliance standards is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with BI tools, ERP, or CRM systems is helpful

Note: Candidates must be currently located in the Stamford, CT area or have independent plans to relocate to the area. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
