Weyerhaeuser is currently looking to fill a Supervising Electrician position at our Eugene facility. A successful candidate is highly motivated, has the desire to learn and is determined to succeed. Our manufacturing facilities are highly automated and utilize many leading-edge technologies in the wood products industry. This position pays $51.50/hour and we offer an excellent relocation package. Key Functions:

• Train, develop, support, and oversee Electrical Apprentices.
• Lead electrical safety training of maintenance department and new hires.
• Maintain and update our site electrical safety program.
• Ensure all electrical work is in accordance with NFPA 70 and OESC.
• Manage the master electrical permit.
• Design, plan and layout all new electrical installations within the plant.
• Maintain and update electrical drawings.
• Manage routine inspection and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Complete electrical aspects of new construction and maintenance related projects.
• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Limited Supervising Electrician License for the state of Oregon or a reciprocal state or a General Supervising Electrician License with industrial experience.
• Able to work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work on occasional weekends and holidays.
• Ability to Maintain and troubleshoot integrated electromechanical systems.
• Experience leading a team.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Allan Bradley PLC5 and/or Control Logix.
• Wood products or engineered wood products experience.
