Job Title : Retail Sales Associate (Women's Clothing) - Full-time/Part-time

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Schedule:

• Monday - Wednesday: 10 am - 6 pm EST
• Thursday - Saturday: 10 am - 7 pm EST
• Sunday: 10 am - 5 pm EST

Compensation: $16 - $18/hour plus incentives (based on experience)

Position Summary:

Clay's Clothing, a modern and distinctive women's clothing boutique, is seeking a talented and fashion-forward Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Portsmouth, NH. We pride ourselves on offering a unique selection of high-quality, stylish garments, including brands like Habitat, Flax, Tribal, Oh My Gauze, and Komil. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be an essential part of our team, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to our boutique's continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients, building rapport, and offering personalized recommendations
• Assist customers in finding the perfect garments and accessories to suit their style, fit, and occasion
• Maintain a strong knowledge of our products, brands, and current fashion trends
• Participate in visual merchandising to ensure an attractive, inviting, and well-organized store environment
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
• Contribute to store cleanliness and maintenance
• Collaborate with the Clay's Clothing team to achieve store sales goals and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications:

• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for style
• Previous retail sales experience in a fashion boutique or similar environment
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date on fashion trends and industry developments
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and occasional holidays
